This dressing was a staple in the house for so long … and then I stopped making it.
You know how you make something over and over and you just get tired of it?
That’s what happened.
But then I made some the other day and remembered how much I LOVED this stuff so here it is again!
This is Paleo approved but NOT Whole30 … it’s got honey and well, part of the Whole30 concept is kicking the sugar addiction!
It’s simple and I bet you have everything on hand to make it!
1/2 cup olive oil – you can use regular or light OR even avocado oil
3 tbs white vinegar
2 tbs water
1/4 cup honey
1/4 cup grey poupon style mustard
1/2 tsp dried basil
1/2 tsp salt
dash of black pepper
Ready to get to it?
Measure all your ingredients in to a glass jar …
TIP: do the oil before the honey and the honey will slide right out of the measuring cup!
Put a lid on the jar and shake it like crazy to mix and combine all the ingredients.
Stick the jar in the fridge for a few hours to let everything do a little meet and greet and become best friends.
Serve up with your favorite salad. Use as a dipping sauce. Swab some on a chicken breast before cooking. The possibilities are endless!
Enjoy!
